9,000 people in New Hampshire, USA, have been asked to keep an eye on their credit reports and bank accounts, after a file containing their personal details - including names, addresses and social security numbers - was sent accidentally as an attachment in an email to 61 health service providers.

There's no evidence that any of the data has been misused, said Associate Commissioner Nancy Rollins, and the 61 service providers that received the e-mail have all been asked to delete the file.
